I am going to check out a 2004 cobra convert. silver, black top, all stock, original owner, 1800 miles, 2 yrs. left on the warranty asking 29,900.
I know to check for the dreaded tick, throwout bearing noise- what else?
What do you think is a fair realistic offer?
    Thanks in advance

Again... I think that is a FANTASTIC price for a low-mileage '04 'vert. I say jump on it!

I would still work him a little on the price. After all low mileage or not its a used car. IF you care serious about buying it, work it out to get the best deal. Those cars got cheap on the dealer lots when they were new and pushing to get them out before the new 2005 year. All he can say is no, and then if you really want it buy it anyways. I am always negotiable when I sell my cars no matter how nice they are. I have sold about 12-14 cars in the past 4 years with much luck and many happy buyers.
