White if you NEVER want to wash your car, Silver if you want your ride to look good even when dirty, and black if you want to wash your car every day to keep it looking good...

which is EXACTLY why i wanted a silver stang when i traded in my black truck. woulda thought id learned when i traded in my black stang for the black truck, but there isnt anything like an all cleaned up black vehicle.

but yeah, when i was looking for another stang last year, seriously, it was 75% the reason why i hunted for a silver stang. easy clean maintanence. i was tired with the hours of slavery by soap.

man, black sucked to keep up with though. every week id wash her down, hours of cleaning time, only to be disappointed the next day.

i, too, once use to have one of those lazer red 'pink' stangs, and actually got compliments on how the sun brought out all the colors in the paint. id be like 'ah, yeah, its suppose to have that pink. sure. ' but that car wasnt as bad as the black truck or my black stang.

even though i actually love cleaning my car, and im usually pretty meticulous about cleaning every inch, sometimes, i just have alot of stuff to do and just dont have the time/energy. if it gets too dirty, and im too lazy or its winter and its cold, all i need to do is go in the touchless carwash for $8, then give it a quick once over with my absorber, and clean the windows. 20 minutes and back to new again. that would never work with black. it would show the soap stains and look horrible. black needs committment.

Gotta go with Laser Red as the worst :nonono: I wash my car twice a week and wipe it down every day with instant detailer. If I dont keep the wax up it looks pink. When I repaint it will still be Laser, guess I am a glutton for punishment :rlaugh:

IDK, a good shop quoted me $2500 to repaint mine, removing the windows, all trim, repair all door dings and the dammage on the fender. Thats using PPG 3 stage factory Laser Red, and their work is great. I think the paint only came to $350-400. Is that alot:shrug:
