Yesterday I was involved in an accident that essentially destroyed my front end (hood, bumper, fenders, etc...). The accident was 100% the fault of the other driver and his insurance will be covering the damages. Now Im kinda throwing ideas around in my head as far as what to do with the hood/bumper combo.

    2000 Cobra R hood w/ 99/01 Cobra front end

One of the best looking combos for a GT I think.

yes love the 01 cobra bumper. got it on my GT. looks awsome always get so many people complimiting on how good it looks. i also put the mach chin spoiler an grill delete on too. want a diffrent hood though? like the cobra R hood without the louvers. just the 2.5 or 3 cowl hood? an a plus no modifications needed bolts right on an no fitting issues. like the Termi bump hits on the gt hood? so i've heard?

    99/01 Cobra front bumper with a 95 R hood= PURE SEX!!!!

2nd choice would be the 99/01 Cobra bumper & 2000R hood....

Y2k Cobra hood w/ a 99/01 cobra front. That's what I have on mine and I've got the 03/04 cobra chin spoiler on it. Gets alot of good comments from everyone that sees it.

00R hood with a 03 Cobra front. I had many compliments on that set up on my old car.

IMO, you need the side skirts to pull off the look. Also, the 03 cobra doesn't have the indent for the license plate, so if you don't mount it the bumper still has a smooth look to it.

Oh man, know that looks really good!

Its down to 00R hood w/ either the 99/01 or 03/04 cobra front.

Be careful if you get the 00R front bumper...it's pretty low. If I could have cut off the bottom lip I'd have been fine.

I've decided to go with the 00R hood. Im still debating between the 99/01 or 03/04 front.

Unless you have a big intercooler to go behind that 03/04 Bumper, go with the 99/01. The big gap for the heat exchanger looks naked on cars that don't have 1...

Although I think San-Man's old GT looks great with the exterior mods, I don't like how you can see the radiator support behind the big lower opening....

A subtle cobra r style hood is the best looking, imo. Just don't go too big.

99/01 cobra bumper, 95 R hood...00R hoods look funny without the rear cowl closed...plus i think the weird vent hump in the middle of the 00R hood makes it look odd from the front...just my .02

Would anyone happen to have pics of a 00R hood and a 99/01 front? I have plenty of pics of 99/01 fronts with the 95R hood.

    x2, except for the 2nd choice...I just can't stand the 00R hood.

That said, it's your car and however you do it, I'm sure you will like it. It's not about what everyone else thinks about it anyway. If you like it, that's all that matters.
