I have a reef blue with titanium bottom gt. Im not getting a hood yet, but just starting to look. I have kinda narrowed it down to 3 hoods but cant really find good pics of them.

    1. cobra r svo hood - 2.5 rise
    2. cobra r - 2.5 rise
    3. cobra boss style hood with the louvers at the top middle

What do you think would look better on a reef blue GT? Might be getting a stalker front bumper too, mainly cause my stock bumper needs some body work, etc.

    Post hood pics!!

    Simple cowl hood.

Nothing says clean to me than a nicely done Mustang with a simple hood.

How about a stocker? Fits the best, looks the best and its already on the car.

Steel 2.5" cowl hood.. clean, simple and makes a statement.. The Fox stang has hard lines and straight edge bends. The curvey lines of the cobra r and other hood makes for a car with too much going on....

If/when I decided to change hoods it will be between the Heat Extractor and 1.5" Cowl. For now I still can't get past the price for the Extractor. Basically it's going to have to be a situation where I need a new hood.

    lol

Imo, the Cobra R hood is definitely too much for a stock-body LX but it works on Foxes with body kits.

By "body kit" I was referring to the GTs (also Cobra, Saleen, etc). :nice:

FWIW, I voted for the regular Cobra R hood. Don't much care for the SVO or louvered R hoods.

Cervini 2.5 in cowl, nice clean lines, fits a fox body well, my wife even likes it.

Heat extractor or a 1.5 cowl. Anything more than a 1.5 cowl is too much for me... unless you need the clearance.

IMO the Cobra R hood looks good on the Saleen and Stalker kits because those bumpers have enough curves to complement the hood.

I like just the ordinary cowl hoods 3inch looks good to me, never really liked the cervini ram air hood either, they just look out of place to me and too squared off, and the others just seem to have too much curve like the cobra hoods, which do look very good on the 94 and up cars, the heat extractor does look decent though.
I vote either a 3 inch cowl or the heat extractor:shrug:
