I am looking for a set of hood pins for my 66 coupe. I have a shelby front valace and i'm going to get rid of the hood latch as it looks like ****. I am worried that this fiberglass cowl hood will not fit hood pins that are made for the 66. Since the price range is quite wide ($100 gap) i thought i would post for your consumption and subsequent regurgitation.
Here's the middle of the road set i'm looking at. I like that larger tougher look.

There's a few other sets out there but i'm not sure if i need a special set for curved hood or something? Please post pictures of your hood pins and what type you installed? Also i want to hear the good and the bad. Thanks for the help!!!
