Hey! I've been out of the loop a bit on the '05s and what's been going on with them. But sometime ago, I remember that everyone was wondering if the cars that were on display at the auto shows with hood stripes would be available as an option to purchase. The answer at the time was NO. However, last weekend I was visiting around the Cincinatti, OH area and went past a Ford dealer that had a Black '05 (pretty sure GT) on the lot with Gold hood stripes! It was pretty sharp. Was wondering if this is an option/dealer option now or what???
If you look in the Mustang brochure, page 24, you will find dealer installed options. Chrome Bullit wheels, Bluetooth wireless, and Stripes. So to answer your question: yes, Ford is offering this. But the problem is, the stripes only cover the hood, roof, and trunk. They don't go all the way down to the bumpers. I've seen some aftermarket jobs on here that looked 10 times better than the factory installed stripes.
100% totally correct he is completely right, take at the ones on tom tom doesnt like,, there is a cobalt blue one with white stripes, the guy did a perfect job.
You got that right. I saw that and it is outstanding. I wasn't considering white until I saw the pictures.
