ok, i have this kenwood 6 disk cd changer, and i wanna hook it up to a winstar newer model, 2000 or so,

i had a maxima with a bose sound system, and a kenwood 6disk,

the people at circuit city are saying the kenwood 6 disk will only work with the kenwood cd player...but it wasnt that way in my other car

my maxima didnt even have a cd player my friend hooked it up to where ON THE RADIO/TAPE DECK i would turn it to like 89.1 and it would activate my cd changer

how can i do this in the windstar, with its factory tape deck, to where i can tune a station and pick up my changer?

    thanx guys

you need to pick up the receiver box and controller for the changer to hook it up to FM radio. i have that in my saturn and it worked awesome until i spilled coffee on it.

Yeah, I have it the same way in my old T-Bird. It had 90.1 or something like that set to OPTION 1 on the stero channels, when I hit that pre-set it turned on my CD changer in the trunk!
