I have been lurking around here for a little while, and I decided I had something that might be worth posting. I bought my Mineral Gray 05 GT last August and almost immediately I have been looking through these sites for some performance ideas. I came across this setup from a performance racing store and claims it is an 11 second package (albiet high 11s). I'd imagine that this package has 11 sec ET potential, but under great conditions and at least an above average driver, but would it run mid 12s consitantly?

I left out the site I found this from so I'm not advertising their buisness (though some of you probably know where it comes from), but I wanted to know what everyones opinion of the following set up is:

Diablosport Handheld Tuner w/ a Custom Tune
    C & L Cold Air Intake Kit w/ Oversized Mass-Air Meter
    Steeda Underdrive Pulleys
Motive Gear 4.30 Ring & Pinion Set
Motive Gear Ring & Pinion COMPLETE Install Kit
    Metco Lower Control Arms
    Metco Upper Control Arm
    Metco ICM Brackets
    Eibach 4pc. Lowering Spring Kit
    Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch
    Cyn-R-G Aluminum Segmented Flywheel
Bogart Aluminum 4 pc. Racing Wheel Set
    Bassani "Off-Road" Aluminized X-Pipe
    Bassani Aluminized Cat-Back System
Mickey Thompson 26 x 11.5 ET Street Slicks

What about any improvements/changes? Would 4.10 gears make that much of a difference from the 4.30?

Not that good. I cant see this thing running anywhere near 11s without some engine mods. But who knows. I myself am more a fan of N/A horsepower then big gear and suspension.

You could do 12s with that setup but I highly doubt 11s.

definitely not 11s, you'd need a nitrous kit added onto that list. Though they make an awesome wheel, ditch the bogarts and put that money towards a Zex kit or something.

Here's a list for an 11sec car...the more afordable side:

    Zex Nitrous (100 shot)
JLT Short Ram Intake and Tuner
    Hooker Long Tube Headers
BMR Lower Control Arms and Relocation Brackets
    Strange Rear Adjustable Shocks
Ford Racing 4.10 (auto) 4.30 (manual) Gears
Some 17x9" Wheel and Mickey Thompson Drag Radials

cleveland, just curious, why 4.10s for auto and 4.30s for manual?

Auto's final drive ratio is 3.30, fun as all hell to drive once you upgrade to 4.10.

I could get into it more but its too much to write and Im too tired for "sounding smart" right now. Just trust me on this or wait for someone else to answer it.
