HOW MUCH FOR LABOR?

How much would it cost to havea new clutch installed and rear main seal fixed on my mustang? I ordered the clutch, and it should be here soon. The seals are probably around 40 bux for everyithing, correct? Any idea what the going rate is to install and fix the aforementioned?

Probally around $400 in labor.

I am thinking it's going to be somewhere around $400 as well. It depends on where you live and what the going rate is for labor. What seals are you referring to? I think I paid somewhere between $8 and $12 for a Fel Pro rear main seal a couple years ago.

i live in rochester, new york. cah you fly up and do the install? ill give you a 12 pack I actually just got an email from a guy that works on my car asking how much he would charge for everything. he said between 240-300 dollars with the gaskets and everything (rear main). this guy works out of his garage and is very trustworthy. i think i will end up going to him. thanks for replies.

I would say ~4-5 hours at shop rate will give you your answer. Good thing my guy is still 60/hour versus 75

That is your best bet. You are getting a good deal and it's always a plus when you are using someone you trust.

just get a buddy to help, and get a couple a 12 packs and slap that baby in there, it aint that hard to do.
