I'm wanting to do a 2.3T swap from my current 2.3L NA setup and would like it to trap at least 100 MPH in the 1/4 mile. Generally speaking, what all is needed? I'm guessing it'll take in the neighborhood of 300rwhp give or take a little. After I get the engine and trans, what else am I looking at?

And because I know it matters, most likely it'll be a stalled auto setup as I like fast track times, and enjoy crusing around not having to worry about shifting gears, and this will hardly be a corner-carver, but there is a small chance I'll go with a manual setup. A slim chance, but a chance none-the-less.

Thats excellent news because its going to be a pretty budget limited build for the time being (still finishing off the Trans Am with a set of heads and an updated cam).

Good to see a familiar name over here. I'll definitely check out TF too. Thanks.

2k? How about 3-500 in mods will do it.

You only need around 230rwhp to trap 100mph...

I'm willing to bet that I can trap 100 in the 1/4 with $1200 or less including the price of the car. Just find a Nitrous kit on ebay and you'll trap that and more.

yah, my apologies, I wasnt thinking nitrous.

I was thinking more suspension, and a few engine mods.
