I am hoping some of the guys with some time working with the 4.6L 2V's will step up and share some of their knowledge.
I am thinking of buying a 99 Mustang GT and building me a daily driver that will lay down 500 RWHP but be a very relaible and durable street car.
Some of my thoughts are: it will definitely have to be supercharged to achieve my goal and the Vortech S-trim has been one of the most durable units made. Is there a more relaible unit than an S-trim??
Obviously it will have to have a solid shortblock, all forged components. The only question there is what brand Piston due you run and where do you try and keep your compression ratio so that you stay clear of detonation and have some off the line torque.
Now for the heads and cams. I have no clue where to start on them?? I would hope somebody has a setup that has good low end and fromn there the supercharger will take over.
Any info or comments would be appreciated.
