how to remove gum from paint?

What about the gum removers they have that freeze it so it's easier to clean up on different surfaces??? I believe it's like liquid nitrogen that in it. Just freeze the gum and the area around it and should just come right off.

What about butter?? might sound crazy but it might help make it slide off the car easier just like when kids get gum stuck in their hair.

Or just go to the car wash and blast the living hell out of it.

Freeze it with freeze spray.

Then carefully use a brand new plastic scraper blade to remove as much as possible. Since it is now frozen it may just come right off.

The use bug/tar remover or peanut butter to get the rest.

Zippo lighter fluid works wonders (never tried gum) but for tar, crazy size bugs, etc., it works real well.

FWIW, if anyone ever gets gum on their carpet, the best way to get it off is (now that someone mentioned it) freezing it .. but if it is too far down into the carpet, you can use laquer thinner when you clean/shampoo the carpet and it will completely disolve the gum. I wouldn't do this on paint though considering laquer thinner is paint stripper basically. :D

Whatever you use, it's gonna take some rubbing ...
