SN95 Hp/tq Numbers

Ok so a custom cam then, do you know someone that's reputable for the custom cam? And TLSR?:shrug:
Call the cam company with this info, plus the tranny, rear end gears, and how you want to use it. This is not so radical of a combo. An off the shelf grind will be available for what you want, but it is the same info they need to match a custom grind.
I think with your good parts, how you are going to use the car is more important than peak numbers.

Ok so a off the shelf cam will be good to go with also? And I was also looking into the tf box r intake and it's saying it's more for a higher rpm range of like around 7-8k and Im pretty sure I'll never get to see that on the street,I'm looking for a good cam more along the lines of 4-5k rpm range

Then you don't want what you initially stated. What EXACTLY do you want out of the car? Not a number but Mannerisms you want? You should have a 4-5000 rpm power and now. What do you want to change?

Yeah I was gonna ask at what rpm is guy gonna have to rev to to reach his 400 horse goal? If he has to rev the bejesus outta it won't that make for a cruddy car on the street? 7k rpm's it first gear with 4.10's going 3 mph?

I would like to hit the 400 mark but not have to twist the motor up to 7k rpm remember this is a weekend warrior, my ideal rpm range would be 4-5k maybe 6k, is it still possible to reach that goal with those rpm?
 
With all your restrictions I'd guess your +/- 330whp right now. You can squeeze another 20-30whp out of your combo if you:
Get long tubes & h-pipe
larger injectors, 30# or bigger
bigger in tank fuel pump (if you don't have one already)
larger MAF and TB
better flowing intake manifold
get a good custom tune, dyno tune

You should be in the 350whp+ range. I wouldn't really expect your engine, while retaining good street manners, to reach close 400whp. A well built N/A 363cid engine with 205cc heads and a healthy cam and intake will make the 400whp but will set you back some serious dough.

I agree with what you said except a well built 363 easily can push close to 500rwhp. Op your combo can get to the upper 300's with the proper changes. You don't need to spin it to 7k to make that power.
 
They seem to be the best bang for the buck out there.
While I also agree with this I still believe the proper way to do a blower install is to include the proper fuel system/boltons ie pump,inj,proper MAF,tb,and intake. He has middle of the road boltons for a 302! With the extra displacement and good heads he's choking the crap out of airflow. Trying to make 400rwhp in the 4-5k rpm range would need a power adder or an entirely different motor(like a stroker 351w or a big block). I know that the mfg recommended rpm range on these intakes are exaggerated. #1 it's almost impossible to make power above 6500rpm with any "stock style" aftermarket intake(edelbrock,TFS,Holley,etc). The box r build I stated earlier is not what this particular person wants. I should have asked more ? Before giving ideas/advise. OP if you just want to "wake up" your driving expierience with this car and with what I think you want I recommend the following:
1-Add some rear gears(you would probably like 3.55's).
2-Upgrade your MAF,INJ,Tb,Intake and make sure you have enough fuel pump(190 or 255lph) I recommend at least a 75mmPRO-M,75mm tb(accufab are the best)30#inj,and either a Holley systemax or edelbrock RPM intake.
3-get a dyno tune. This isn't necassarily an absolute must but highly recommended. They will usually get the most power AND drivability out of the car.
Or you can do the Rear gear with a Vortech blower and the proper fuel system. Easily capable of 400+rwhp with this option. The dyno tune becomes mandatory with the blower option.

Hmm I like that last option with the blower, but is 10.5:1 cr to high or will it still be ok to push a few pounds of boost, and sorry about the confusion I should've stayed that when we first started talking:bang:

I think you'd have a very good performing street car if you take @A5literMan 's advice on the air, exhaust & fuel upgrades. If, after those upgrades, you still want just a little more I'd get on the phone with a custom cam specialist. Even if you want a vortech you'd still need to upgrade the air restriction issues with both intake and exhaust.

edit: and gears! I have 3.73's, BIG before/after difference.

It's a little high but not a deal breaker. There are ways to deal with that. The easiest is to keep the boost moderately low(still capable of 400rwhp). Before going into great detail here let me just say a few things. The blower option is going to cost a minimum of about 5k. You have to have the proper fuel system mods and the blower and a tune. If you have to have these things installed(if you're not a DIY guy) add another 2k minimum. After getting to this hp range the rest of the drivetrain needs to be built up. The T5 trans will not live a long time behind that power. I also can't remember if you have subframe connectors and torque box modifications. Or what other suspension/brakes you have. If you don't have the Connectors you need to do this NOW! Even before going forward. This search for more power snowballs into a fairly large investment of time and money.

airflow of a 302 at 7k-8k is drastically different than the air flow of a higher compression 331. I ran a super victor with a simple elbow on my 347. Everyone said it would kill my low end torque. I looked at it as "traction control". Take away just a little bit of the power to keep it from blowing the tires off on takeoff, but as soon as it was moving... hold the :leghump: on!

Ok well I do have the subframe connectors and yeah I know the blowers start at around 3k and like you said getting enough fuel in there to support it and I have figured out that this whole performance thing is a big snowball effect lol and ok guys thanks for the help and suggestions, I'll update yall on what path I take, if it's with the blower or just doing intake and fuel system but the 3.73 will be going in there

Would anyone know what sort of power the t-5 is able to hold?

T5's are a crap shoot. The most difficult/destructive thing you can do to them is power shifting(slamming gears without lifting off the throttle). Stock motors have destroyed them. Others have ran fairly descent amounts of power without breaking them. If you use really sticky tires(slicks etc) and get great traction they also tend to break. Really aggressive clutches also can be a determining factor. On a car that never sees these things they last a fairly long time.
