Hydroboost on 65 stang w/ T5

has anyone done this conversion. i have the entire setup off a 01 GT. also my engine is a 302 would i just have to fab a new p/s pump bracket to use the 01 GT p/s pump? if i'm leaving any necessary info out let me know. thanks in advance- Nick

I wouldnt really know anything about this, but doesnt that pump put out too much pressure for the old style power steering? Or do you not have p/s? Whats your reason for wanting hydraboost?

Think you could use the stock pump. The hydra boost requires more pressure and volume than stadard pumps that like say, fox bodies had. And the older pumps re higher pressure. Looks fine that way at first glance to me.

If you ran the 01 pump also, should be fine for the hydraboost, but if you ran it with stock PS, the PS has a good chance of being weak.
