Hypertech Power Programmer III Problem

    I recently Purchased A Hypertech Power Programmer III from a friend who totalled his 01 Cobra. I can't get it to work with my car and displays a ERROR code 91. Well The programmer said on its display screen that it had to be returned to stock configuration before it can be used on another car. How can I get around this :bang: :bang:

    The computer will not work on another car until it has loaded the stock program back in the car it came from with the same VIN #. If you can't find the other car the program was originally flashed on you will have to call Hypertech. Basically the old car went out with the Hypertech program still flashed so basically I think you are screwed.

    If the other car will still crank and idle you may be able return it to its stock computer setting. Then it will work on your car. The hypertech marries itself to one car.
