I bought a new STEEDA race wing off eBay...

I bought a STEEDA race wing for a 94-98 Mustang (only paid $137.50 TOTAL WITH SHIPPING!!!) The thing is brand new, never installed, and I have all the hardware and everything. But I thought I heard somewhere that STEEDA wings are mounted farther back than the stock wing and require new holes to be drilled and the stock ones filled. Is this true?

I'm almost positive they don't use the same mounting holes.
