BASTARDS. I dont know how many times I've changed companies in my life (driving life). So I'll be 27 in 2 months and been drivng since 18(...14 really ) and I hate dealing with those clowns. I've been with Belair-direct for I think the last 4 years now. No serious problems but chit happened lately and made me started looking elsewhere to get other prices, cause I knew they were trying to screw me.
First of all, the Grand Am GT is a POS and is starting to break on me in many ways and I am NOT gonna fix it. Sure it is fun to drive but whatever, its an old car and I just got sick of the stupid problems of the old beaters. Basicly I've own POS cars since forever (except stang and Sunfire GT back then), and I think I deserve better now. I'm also out of the 'modding car period' so I got more cash and gas is expensive (which doesnt bother me that much really..) and I want a good reliable car. Sure I want that Cobra, that doesnt mean that I cant have it. But I want something RELIABLE.
So I've been shopping around the past 2 days doing all the dealerships in the regions, those I have interest in. Bash me if you want, I dont care, but I'm looking into that new 06 Civic Lx coupe or that 06 Mazda 3, 5 doors GT (sport). I drove both and I gotta say I'm impressed on both sides. I do love the look of the Mazda more though, and more power also. Suspension is also from BMW and it rocks. But the Civic will keep its value way more I'm sure.
So this is what made me called the insurance company. I've been with Belair direct fro 4 years now and I called yesterday to know how much I'd be paying. To my surprise, they either want 172$/month for the Civic and 167$/month for the Mazda. Total BULL$HIT. I'm ditching those clowns. So I just started calling this morning and I havent found nobody more expensive than Belair. Thats the part that bugs me. Back then they had a good price for the stang but somehow now, they turned the cards on me and are trying to screw me. Best so far I've found is 115$/month for the Civic and 95$/month for the Mazda. Still is 57$/month cheaper than Belair (685$/year) for the Civic and 72$/month cheaper than Belair (864$/year) for the Mazda.
You see why I'm angry ?!?
