did they come with leather interior....this one has leather and it's actually in good shape. I bought the car for parts but I might fix it up for a DD/beater

I dont think it was an option, someone prolly swapped it out, but I could be wrong.
I bought a 4 banger for my daily driver. I love it as much as my gt.

Leather interior eh? Interesting, and no I'm pretty certain 2.3 Mustangs were never available with leather. I'd say that someone probably yanked it out of a GT.

Did 5.0 LX's with the LX-style seats ever come with leather? Or were the leather seats all GT style. I don't know myself.

Since it's a Canadian car the options were different from American ones, but I'm not sure about this leather.

Looks more like vinyl than leather. Still interesting though, since I've never seen LX seats in anything other than cloth.

I did run across a set of seat covers (the real deal, not slip ons) on Ebay for LX seats that were black leather with the FRP logo embroidered on the back. If I were going to keep my LX seats I'd have jumped on them.

I just happened to think, I bet those are "pleather" (plastic leather, ie vinyl) seats. I've never really seen them either, but in that issue of MM&FF where they tried to blow up the 2.3L Mustang, they said their car had a blue pleather interior.

When I get my day job I plan to skin my whole interior in leather. Gonna do alotta custom intro work with t-bird dash and stuff. Gonna go two tone, black and white. If done correctly, It will be very classy and expensive looking.
