I don't know about before your time but Scott Hoag has had one himself for a long while that has been proven to do well. The suspension set-up (springs and shocks) I installed on my car are the same as what he uses on those cars. The Stangnet one I am not so sure about how long it's been around though, I'll tell you one thing, if you call Scott and talk to him, he will be happy to tell you all about it. He's talked with me for hours before on race car subjects.
I've actually seen that car...Scotts place is only a couple miles from my house, and the Machs and his Interceptor frequent the 4 lane wide, well-lit, sidestreet-less highway I like to call Commerce International Speedway... But like ya said nut - Scotts a good guy - always more than happy to talk about his rides...:SNSign:
