but i figured alot of you either own a 5.0 or have owned one in the past.
my question is there is a 95 gt for sale by my house for pretty cheap, problem is it has 140,000 miles on it. My question is it worth it? i talked to the guy selling it we started it up and it fired up perfectly fine first try no noises and no smoke, and we opened the hood and its pretty clean looking.
sorry for the long post but my main question is that mileage trustable?

its only 2900 and it has a good exterior with a decent interior and the engine looked clean and started up first try with no unusual noises, and revved perfectly fine.

Since it doesn't sound like you are too sure, or know that much about stangs, I suggest you spend $100 and take it to a reputable mechanic. Have them jack the car up, inspect it, run a compression test, and drive the car. Check the VIN and run it through carfax or another site. It could save you money in the long run.

post it in 5.0 talk, there are plenty of guys that will help you there. a 5.0 motor is extremely strong, reliable, easy and cheap to work on. 140k on one isnt bad at all.
