yes.. very random but, Im really liking my stang. The power novelty has worn off now (the stock 5.0 in a heavy vert isnt the best performer) but that doesnt matter, just being out cruising on a crisp day with the top down is a sweet feeling. After I park it i always find myself looking over my shoulder 4 or 5 times just to steal another glace at it. Sometimes, I regret not going for the ttop lt1 camaro, or pulling out a loan for an ls1.. but those thoughts all disappear when i get into the seat of the stang I wont lie, the generals 350's would destroy my humble 5.0 but when the smoke clears, an engine is like a nice rack.. its a very attractive part of the whole thing, but there are much more important things that often get overlooked long live the mustang!
youll be glad you got the stang when it comes time to replace spark plugs lol besides all it takes a nice hci package to be competitive with an ls1 o dont feel too bad
I agree. BUT I am having to make adjustments to get some of that stock niceties back. Like no rattles, a little more quietness, getting my strut tower braCe back on so the car handles.
I'm with ya dstang, you're in the perfect spot -- having what you love and loving what you've got. Convertibles FTW! Wes
heh i used to love my car like that ... it's hard to love it when i haven't driven it in over a year maybe the feeling will come back after it is back on the road
dollar for dollar you could make that stang as fast or faster than a ls1. enjoy the lower payments, lower insurance and vert.
Yeah there is nothing like a vert in the spring or fall. Who would want a car that looked like a catfish,or door stop anyway.
These cars truly are beautiful. I'd say they are in my top 3 of all mustangs ever produced. I'd tell you I loved mine too, but she's been a bit of a **** lately
