I have so much stuff going on and with starting fire academy I need something that's not a project right now. I have a lot onto my engine and I think i'm going to sell my engine and all of my parts and buy a nice truck. And with the emissions stuff getting ready to start I just don't have time to mess with it. Once I get my stuff settled down I really want to get a classic 60's and build it up. Thanks guys for all of the help:SNSign: .
Brandon, can you pick up a cheap commuter car for the academy? You have a lot of time into that combo - will you regret getting rid of it? (We all get fed up, but normally some time away helps with that). Good luck with the decision.
The engine is out right now. My car is still in my parents name and they had some issuses when thier stock and loosing alot of money. The bank wants $7000 for my car but we only owe 2k. I'm thinking of taking all of my parts off of it and just leting it go back.
I was once in your spot. my maxima was in my dad's name, he past away berfor I paid it off. The bank want'ed 8 grand for it didin't have the credit or cash for it so I let it go. I put so much time and money in to it (was no 418) That suck's that you have to let her go s*** happen's.
I will keep the engine and all of the parts i put on it. I'm thinking of selling them and just buy a truck for now. A buddy of mine's dad is good friends with a guy who owns a car auction place. He was looking for a sports car and the guy just let his friend buy a tt 350z for $4000. He said we could go drive some car/s and truck and make a deal with him.
All that work you did and you're not even gonna enjoy it now? lol, somebody told me that a while back when I was talking about storing the mustang.
I DEFINITELY hear you there. I have zero time to devote to the mustang now. I have money, but it's all going to my Gixxer fund (and my stupid exhaust ticket, lol).
I'm still trying to deciede on what I want to do. I might just try selling all of the parts expect for the short block and just store it for later. I'm going to go look at some trucks at an auction up in belton that my buddys dad is good friends with.
Sorry to hear it man, but I understand that completely. I'm having trouble getting the money to finish mine so I've thought about selling the engine and starting over with something cheaper.....but then I think of how fun the car is now(or will be when it's finished), and I can't sell it. I don't owe anything on it, so I'll let it sit until I can afford to finish it.
