Idler Pulley

    My idler pulley was squealing pretty bad so I replaced it. Any way, it still squeaks when cold. Any suggestions to get rid of the noise?

    It may be the belt squeeling, if you replaced the idler it should be quiet.... Was the replacement metal or plastic?

    Just conditioned the belt and checked the idler, its metal, think you are right and its the belt. Can't get one today and am getting tires tomorrow so i'll try and get a gatorback tomorrow or tues at Walkers
