So after a good weekend with the car I go to pull it into the garage for the night and I cant get the key all the way into the cylinder. It seems like the very last tumbler is blocking the key way and I can only get the key in 85% of the way (I know sounds like a personnal issue). I ordered a new cylinder, but my issue is the steering column is locked and I cant get the key in to turn the ignition on. How do I get the old cylinder out? Can I jamb a screw driver in and force it? Any advise would be helpful.
