Parked the car some months ago and went to move it later and couldn't shift at all. Muscled past the interlock and dug in to find out the box and cable that go from the ignition switch to the shifter will not unlock with the key on. I know it is in the box and I cannot find a replacement anywhere. Ford no longer makes them and wrecking yards are a freakin joke here. anybody have one or know where I can get one. Since I discoed the cable from the shifter I can put it in gear with the key out of ignition. It makes me glad i have a ignition disabling alarm.
