IL Emissions Question.

    This may be a stupid question but I thought I'd ask anyway. My car has to go for emissions within the next couple of months. I took my other car in for testing and noticed that they look at the front license plate. Now my Mustang doesn't have a front plate. Can they ticket me for that? Or will they just give me a hard time?

    I took my beater in during the winter (w/o a plate) and they didn't say squat. I didn't even notice them looking for anything other than the VIN.
