Yesterday I went ahead and installed a Kenne Bell supercharger onto my car. Previous mods are as follows, GT40 heads, F cam installed straight up, GT40 lower and SVO Motorsports upper, trickflow drop in springs, aeromotive stealth 340 fuel pump, Summit Shorty Headers, Off road H pipe, and SLP Catback, 42lb injectors are on the shelf waiting for dyno tune day. The install took me around 6 hours, but I ran out of time for the day and had to leave small details for next weekend, such as fabbing up a bracket for the coil, routing the hoses better, soldering in the harness for the ProM Meter and CAI, etc. I picked this up in good used condition, it came with 8lb and 10 lb pullies, 75mm throttlebody, ProM 90mm MAF, CAI, FMU, and gauges. Until I get to tuner hopefully sometime this week or early next the 8lb is staying on. The previous owner said he had trouble with headgaskets blowing out and not being able to get it to idle right. When I took it all apart I found that the gaskets werent trimmed and were blocking a good portion of the entrance, the TPS wasnt set to the right voltage, I found various areas where you could tell it was leaking vacuum, I also junked the stock KB intake elbow(which was smaller than the TB) in favor of a 75mm Trickflow intake elbow that is made for 75mm TB's. I also noticed that the previous install did not have the fuel rail boost referenced, so I went ahead and picked up another fitting to reference that also. I am sure I am missing alot but here are some pictures. I havent taken it past 1/2 throttle while driving because I am worried about blowing up my new engine before the tune, but the car feels astoundingly different, I am very pleased with how this turned out, although the 8lb pulley is only giving me around 6lbs of boost..
