I agree the one piece STERNS aren't my first choice but I wouldn't turn them away if someone offered a set to me, hehehehe..

    Neither would I.

I like the one piece because they look just a bit larger than the three piece. I think I like the one pieve and three piece equally.

I will not discriminate! I will take the one or three piece!

With that said, I STILL have my basketweave white ARE's and I'm keeping them. That is what the FIRST Saleen I ever saw had on it and I'm keeping those wheels.

Everyone here knows how much I love the Sterns. I'm about to go headhunting for some.

    Thanks fasn8n,
I like the 3 piece better, the one pieces look like speedlines to me.

I always thought both sets of sterns had the rivets. I like the rivets.

The rivets are actually bolts that holds the 3 pieces together, there are 40 on each wheel, just guess how I know. Man it was fun putting all of them back together after I had mine cleaned and polished...

The mesh wheels can't be too much lighter than the 90 5 spokes,
    2 of my old ARE saleen 5 spokes=1 of my 95 18's.

well i like the Saleen but not a fan of the owner painting it yellow. i should have been done to the factory color w/ all correct decals & emblems. not only is the seat piping yellow but so its the SALEEN MUSTANG on the inside door panel. JEEEZ, kind of looks rice to me. i really like the way an original Saleen looks & am not a fan of color changes on these cars.
