Is there a way to hook up a shift light?

Is there a way to hook up an individual shift light, like if I made one. I'm trying to figure how to hook it up where it will be rpm activated. I have a regular aftermarket tach, (w/o a light built in, it's a cheapie) and a Crane HI6 ignition box.

I made one with LED's, I just can't figure out how to hook it up, or if there's even a way to do it.

Unless you have a Tach with setable RPM trigger output, you want be able to do it.
You need either Light with potenciometer setable rpm triger or Tach.
Go and buy light with setings or pills, they are around $60 bucks.
