not it is not a turbo 4 cyl mustang it i a 4 cyl car converted to a v8 so they can still pay 4 cyl insurance on it the only turbo 4cyl mustangs were the 84-86 svo mustang or if somebody converted a mustang to a turbo mustang
If you wreck it, you get paid for it as a 4-cyl...if the insurance company doesn't deny you payment at all
"the only turbo 4cyl mustangs were the 84-86 svo mustang or if somebody converted a mustang to a turbo mustang" Carb turbo 2.3L was available in Mustangs from 1979 to 1981. 1982 Canada had a blow through carb turbo 2.3L Mustang with a exhaust mounted turbo. 1983-1984 had the Mustang GT turbo with a non intercooled 2.3L turbo. 1984-1986 Mustang SVO with the intercooled 2.3L turbo.
Actually that doesn't look to bad. You have the money that would be a good one to scoop up. Find out what year the engine is so you know if its roller or not. I have a few V8 cars but I've never owned a "V8" car due to the insurance.
Everyone always goes off about insurance, and I know that when younger it can be a bit more, but my 86 GT insurance is actually $5 LESS / 6 months than the insurance on my 87 lx 2.3. Same with when my Wife had Her 87 GT vert, the insurance was basically the same as my 87.
