Well, after melting a couple of pistons last year in my 331, I decided to build a Dart 363 (4.125x3.45)

Finally finished it and drove it today.

    The install was smooth.

I dropped the motor in complete - the headers.
Popped in the tranny and exhaust.
Plumbed and wired up the motor

Fired on the first shot, came up to idle (800), No leaks, misfires or smoke.

OP came right up, I had primed the motor earlier to pump up the lifters

Warmed it up for 20 min. Temp came up to 210, started the fan temps down to 190.

Topped off the coolant, tweaked the timing a little

Out for a drive. I will need to work on the tune some. It idles well but it can be a bit better.

Going to put 500 nice easy miles on it before dyno and tuning for power.

I have the blower belt considerably looser than I normally would to avoid undue stress during breakin.
