    NooB????s
I just got my 87 TC today, the idle is kind of rough.....but gets better when it reaches OP Temp. What should I see for Vac at idle and what RPM?
One thing I noticed is, it builds boost (up to 10PSI by around 2500-3500) but then starts to fall off way before redline @WOT.
I've seen 10PSI at 5500, but car was not pulling very hard (No ping or over heating)
87 TC = 108k on it and no mods (5spd)
    Thx

Sounds to me like you have a vacuum and/or boost leak somewhere. check the couplings on the intercooler and also check the vacuum lines to make sure none are unhooked or cut.

From what I've been reading, the IHI starts to fall off after 4500-5000 RPMS...is this possibly what I'm experiencing?
Sorry, new to the turbo world...Every supercharger I had pulled all the way to redline?

Well I dunno, people have told me that too although my car seemed to pull good clear up to 5000+ RPM and I definitely didn't have the boost fall off at the upper rpm's either.

is it an a/t car?most a/t cars are limited to 10 psi.your factory boost control solenoid could be going bad as well.we replaced the one on my brothers 88 turbocoupe with the gillis valve, best $45 spent on the car.it's adjustable up to 17/18 psi.also turbo boost does fall off alittle compared to supercharged boost.my brothers car also had a rough idle, his problem was a bad tps and dirty iac.we used a ford tps(these car prefer ford parts, especially plug wires)and cleaned the iac.
