I tried to break my KDW II's loose from the pavement today in the rain...I had very little luck. :(

Either I have too little power (198.6rwhp), or my tires are just THAT GOOD!

Hell, I even dumped the clutch in a turn, and at a stop. They spun for less than a second and then I felt a HARD grab and I had full traction.

And no, I don't have traction control on my 98 GT!

    KDW FTMFW!

just got my Cervinis 95 Cobra R hood and my Cobra front bumper. Dropping the car off at the body shop Thursday, and picking it up a little more than a week later. I will post pics when I get them painted and installed.

O, and my uncle just got done making me my custom center-caps for my wheel, so I will let you see them later too.

The suspense must be killing you guys,:D but I will post pics ASAP when it gets done.

Thanks again for all the love.

sorry to hear you are resurrecting an old thread to say you are getting rid of the car....hope everything is ok.

i still love the way the 94-98 stangs look. makes me miss mine. 99-04 looks mean and nasty, 94-98 looks classy and sporty.

is that 10 grand with or without the rims?

Love your tire/wheel combo - and it's got a great stance. Looks kinda like mine - clean, black and beautiful...but yours looks a bit cleaner than mine - nice! :nice:

I'm really really not trying to hate, but is this the first time you've tried to sell a car? I doubt it is, and I won't assume that it is, but you should know that $10,000 for a 1998 Mustang GT is nearly double the private party value.

This is an honest question, and should be answered seriously: What makes your car worth $10,000? Does it have a supercharger or a turbo kit? Does it have a rebuilt engine? Is it intended to be sold as a track-only vehicle?

Again, I'm not trying to stomp on your parade, but cars are anything but investments. That being said, cars usually cannot be sold for their base value + the value of the parts included, unless of course they are rares or antiques. For some weird reason, it just doesn't work this way.

P.S. When I go to sell mine in the next month or so, I'm only going to be asking $5,500 OBO for it. I have about half of the modifications of your signature.

P.S.S. Your car is amazingly beautiful and I hope you get $10,000 for it.

EDIT: If the following mods would sell my car for $10,000, I will invest in them:

Front and rear Corbeau FX1 pro seats
    Sparco 4-point harnesses
    Steeda strut brace
    Cobra headlights
    Cobra front bumper with foglights
    Cervinis '95 Cobra R hood
SSBC slotted rotors w/ Hawk HPS pads

That's really all you have on me as per your signature.

my wheels and tires are worth more than wat you will ask for ur car. i just put new bf goodrich comp t/a's on my stock wheels, (245-45-17 & 275-45-17) and i also have for new snow tires on steel wheels from tire rack. read my sig before you tell me you have the same mods as me.

Eek, didn't expect you to react in that manner. I do not have the same mods as you, nor do I have as many as you. But please, re-read my post:

My wheels and tires were worth nearly $2,000 brand new (single set: 255/35/18 and 295/35/18). And as I said before, you'd be lucky to get what you put into the car.

P.S. I don't see anywhere in your signature that mentions that you have three sets of wheels, so please excuse me for reading correctly.

no problem. the forgelines are $1,000 a piece, plus $80 each wheel for the titanium hardware. just the forgeline wheels, with no tires are over $4,000, plus another $1,200 for the bf goodrich kdw's that are on them.
