Hey guys. Just wanted to introduce myself and get some ideas. I got my 05 gt 5 speed a couple days ago. So far I love it. But, im never one to leave a car alone. I dont want to change the exhaust for a while, as I kinda like the tone, and from what I hear, it flows pretty good. My first mods are going to be an intake, pulleys, tuner, and maybe a new shifter. I like the C&L intake, but all the pakage deals I have found come with the predator tuner. Is this a good tuner? Can I keep an 87 and a 92 octane tune in it?
And this one is for the guys with a new shifter. Is a herst or steeda shifter a great improvement over the stock shifter? Whitch do u like better?
Can anyone recomend a good site where I can order all this stuff at once?
Thanks. and I look forward to modding with ya!

    Congratulations man!!

Lightning Force Performance will sell the C&L w/o the tune. I just bought one from him on Monday. You'll have to call Mark though, they don't have 05 parts on the website.

I would suggest a dyno-tune session with a reputable tuner instead of a canned tune. I just had mine done yesterday, on an SCT X-cal-2, with 5 dyno pulls, checking a/f, etc.

    Welcome to the forums!

We are all glad that you are here to talk about your new Mustang, however I think you need to do some searching for your answers. There are some really detailed threads about each of the multiple topics you ask about above. We would never be able to get as much detail from all these topics crammed into 1 thread.

    Thanks and enjoy Stangnet
