i just installed my bassani offroad x and mac catback yesterday. I started it up checked for leaks. none found. at idle it sounds insane. perfect sound. revving at a stop sounds excellent to. i noticed on heavy acceleration it started to have a rattling sound. kinda like the exhaust was rattling against the frame or something. So i brought it back to my shop and put it on the lift. noticed it was slightly rubbing the upper control arm on the rear end. adjusted it out of the way and i also noticed the passenger side was rubbing on the gas tank. so i then reroadtested it after adjusting and still heard the rattling noise. the pass side is still up against the gastank. could this cause all that rattle? the rattles only there when you use heavy throttle and when the exhaust twists. or does the x pipe rattle anyways? jeff
when i had my slp catback installed mine sat on the gas tank too. I took it home and tinkered with it till it didnt touch anything. ratlle went away ever since
