I currently have the slp axleback exhaust. This is the only mod I have done to my ride. What do you guys think of the K&N intake? Would my slp's be louder? Would I feel more power? Should I think of installing a tune and if so which one. I think this would be the extent of my modding unless there is another safe mod that I havent explored yet.
I have K&N with Borla Axel Back I installed the K&N CAI before the Borla's and the car was a little louder with the CAI. More air in = more air out = a little louder. I have not dyno'd the car but I could tell that there was more power. Also, no tune and I have never thrown a code.
ahhhhh I reply. I didnt know if I would get one. I am thinking stongly towards the K&N CAI before thinking of adding a program/tune. Did the mileage get any better? Not that it really matters but a little is always nice. Thanks in advance.
I have a K&N with Flowmaster axel-backs, no tune. Sounds great, noticeable power improvement, and maybe 1 - 2 mpg increase. Now easier to get 25 mpg h'way.
I have the kit and it did add power. I could definitely tell a difference with the Aircharger on. I am selling this kit due to the fact I bought a supercharger and I don't need it anymore so PM me and we can talk about some stuff if you are interested. Thanks jon
