Just curious if anyone here has upgraded their supercharger, and whether or not they are happy with the results (for the money).

Theoretically, the upgrades supercharger should have little affect on engine life, right? I mean the internals are all forged, so if you upgraded the chassis and components accordingly you should be good.... right?!?! ;)

I'm botton line wondering whether I should start saving for one of these things.

Worth the money, ABSOLUTLY!!!!! the car is a whole new animal. As far as engine life goes, its all in the tune. Many cars have melted pistons, heads, and other issues have come up. Also depends on how much power you want to have. Personally I'm happy running 15psi and probably wouldn't run any more boost without some internal engine upgrades and more fuel system upgrades. Here is a dyno sheet....

As long as you run it at the same stock 8 psi.... once you up the boost you put more stress on the motor so engine longevity will suffer. The weak point in our motors are the pistons.
