Can you buy these anywhere? I saw one in a picture, but have never been able to find a website that lists these... I'm upgrading my shifter and would like to swap the boot at the same time. thanks.

That's where I got mine from, they are a great company and the shift boot fit perfectly. Looks and feels much better than the stock one.

I'll admit though, the stock boot ring is not fun at all to get off!

I wouldn't replace mine for the looks necessarily, but does anyone else have the problem of their shift boot rubbing/squeaking, being generally annoying, especially in third gear? I find myself constantly twisting the boot by the handle to get the squeaking to stop...

Anyone tried the red as a match for the Ford red interior?

Yeah, I thought I had an intermittent dash squeak going on until I realized it was the shifter boot. I sprayed it with leather conditioner (I know, it's not leather) and the squeaking pretty much went away.

It is like you guys are READING my mind, the reason I wanted a new boot is because of the SQUEAKING/RUBBING. Mine is horrible in 5th gear. Yes it is small, but I either have to crank the radio or keep my hand on it to make it stop, it really annoys me!

Glad to hear your experiences with the conditioner, I will try that first. But if I have to upgraede to REAL leather, I want the red stitching!

Sorry I'm just now able to respond...

I'm not sure about the charcoal because I went with the black. I think it looks great, it matches very well and when someone gets in, they don't know it is aftermarket, which is what I wanted. I didn't want anything that stood out. With the black carpet and other pieces in the interior, it matches very nicely.

That is exactly why I got mine. Mine started squeeking right after I used some of my interior quick detail on it. It drove me insane, so I went with the leather one and now no more squeeking.
