Headunit selection? (free pic thread) Ok all I'm really interested in seeing pics of are the dash mounted head units. I'm getting a 94 GT (non-Mach 460) and want to put in a system that is somewhat equal to the Mach 460 in sound quality and such and that plays CDs (doesn't need to be a CD changer). I really wanna see what everyone has and see if I can find something that blends into the stock interior. Thanks in advance.
Well, here's mine I like this type of headunit, It is straight black when its off, matching all the black interior. It went in like a week after i got the car. Basically any new headunit will be not be enough to compensate for the 3 amps and 8 speakers your missing of the mach. For speakers, some say 2 highs, 2 mids(all in front of the car) and a sub or 2. You may need a 4 channel amp for the 4 spearkers and a mono amp for the sub. But if your not looking to spend a bit of $$$, get a headunit and see how it sounds. It depends on what kind of quality your looking for. hope that helps. oh its a sony headunit by the way. sorry about the bad pic.
