long tube header install

    bought long tubes, instructions look simply enough.
    just not sure on the best way to jack the engine up with no damage?

    put a 2x4 block or something on the end of the jack and jackit at the bottom of the trans case. you will only need it raised about 2-3 inches

    I wouldn't do it there. It'd probably be ok, but the commonly accepted way is to put the jack (with a block of wood) under the oil pan.

    THANKS I HAVE HEARD OF THIS BUT WASN'T SURE , THE INSTUCTIONS SAY NOT TO JACK UP BY USING THE OIL PAN

    You can't jack the CAR up on the pan, but you're just lifting the engine a few inches. I use the oil pan for that all the time on just about every kind of car.
