I had heard this but was not sure. I just finished putting on my 1 3/4 long tubes and Dr. Gas X-pipe. The sound is quieter but deeper than my oold BBK shorty BBK O/R X. Plus it got rid of my drone. I had terrible drone at 75mph but now its almost all gone! Im happy. Now if i can just find out if i made more power that would be great.:nice:

i went from stock heads, stock headers, mac offroad X pipe, mac pro dumps
    to
trickflow heads, mac longtubes, mac prochamber, mac pro dumps
the idle is the same volume, and sounds good, WOT is quieter and honestly i dont like it, i think im gonna go with a new midpipe or maybe new mufflers

Everybody says my car is really quiet at idle. I think it is too. At WOT it is pretty loud though.

the set up I had was mac shorty equal length headers with mac off road H-pipe and flowmaster american thunder out back... It was pretty loud with that combo.

I recently changed to the prochamber pipe and it defintely made things pretty quite at normal driving and idle. But it does get loud at WOT.
