I used to be in one, but there were far too many old dudes in lawn chairs with attitudes, and not one single hot chick for eye candy, so I bailed out. I still go to shows, but on my own. There was no special advantage to being in a club, other than the newsletter that was mailed out, full of news that had been on the internet for months. In the club, there was too much BS to deal with; cliques, gossip, snobs, attitudes, backstabbing, club politics, and so on. It was making it so I didn't want to go to the shows, and that's when I knew it was time to bail out. I'm 100% happier since then and I'd never consider going back to a club. I can win trophys on my own. (7 and counting.)
