well i lost my key again. for good i think, ive been looking and thinking alot. either i misplaced it, or someone took it. i thought i left it in the ignition so i wouldnt lose it again. Anyway should i call the locksmith and have one made or should i buy the $120 kit and re-key everything just to be safe in the case someone stole the key and wants to steal my car. I have no idea who is in and out of my garage when im not home, althought it is a very slim chance someone stole them... soo what do you guys think

I'd get it rekeyed, if it's possible someone stole them it'll put your mind to rest. Anyways, would you rather pay $120 or have to find a new car and redo all the work you have done?

rekey, besides most ignitions in our cars have gone through a lot. the pins just get looser and looser, evenetually, any key will work. i used an explorer key on my friends fox and it worked.
