hey hows it going, i just got done putting on a performer rpm intake manifold and a holley 600cfm eletric choke carburator on my 85 mustang gt and i seem to have lost some power. i set my timing after the install to 14 degrees and all that seem to do was help my starter out some from turning over after it got hot. the motor is a 306 now with a mild cam and a 3 angle valve job done to the heads, any info on what could be causing this would be great, i expected to see at least 20 horsepower from the original intake and carb but i seem to have lost power, thanks.

i am going to guess that you may need to open the exhaust up now to flow the air out better. also you will benefit with better heads. stock gt40 or even possibly e7's
