Does anyone have or know where to get a lumbar switch that will work on a 2003 Mustang besides at a dealer?
14B691 lumbar adjust switch also central junction box F2.15 15amp hot at all times circuit 566 color DG .in connector C361other wire is black on that harness.
Yes I did. Again many thanks I think I fried the rocker switch. Several weeks ago, I received a reply that told me to put 12v to the lumbar (rocker) switch. I did this. A bad move if this switch works like a regular on / off switch. After I replaced the harness ( thanks to your guidance) I tried the lumbar pump but it did not work. I then took the switch out and checked it with a ohm meter. Well, that showed I had an open even when I depressed the rocker switch in either direction. I called the Ford dealer and they told me that I should have had a complete circuit when I applied the ohmmeter as I did. They told me my lumbar switch was bad. Any thoughts?? PS - On my other thread - the one you originally answered, I did express my gratitude for your assistance. Nobody else was able to give me the information I needed. Even the Ford dealer was totally uncooperative. They told me to bring the car in so they could diagnose the problem- at their regular fee of course.
Thanks it means alot.for got to ask is the seat from a cobra?they have a different pump. Something might be missing .lumbar switch plug is 2 wires feed from fuse .your seat switch is feed from battery junction box F1 18 30amp lumbar feed from central junction F2 15 15amp .is their a fuse in cjb not in?how about at plug?
The 4pin plug coming out of carpet both green are power one is lumbar switch power other seat adj .2 different fuses.
I did check the fuses and they are both good. The power lumbar fuse is, as you stated a 15 amp circuit. I have power at both green wires. The seat is from a GT but not a Cobra. I was able to locate a lumbar rocker switch and should have it in a couple of days. When it gets in, weather permitting, I will install it. Hopefully it will work. I will let you know how it turns out. Again, thanks for all of your help.
