I installed Mac long tubes and the O/R Prochamber this weekend. I was first impressed with the fit and finish. The install took 3 hours (but I have a hoist) and there are no clearance, rubbing or rattling issues. I did not do a before and after dyno pull the same day, I should have. The last time I had the car on the dyno was last January. According to my records, the day I did the dyno pull it was 28 degrees out and the humidity was 22%. This weekend it was 62 degrees and the humidity was 94%. That being said, I picked up 11 RWHP. According to my HP Calculator, the difference in humidity would account for a 4.9% HP loss. The HP gain is probably much greater.

The improved sound alone is worth the price.

From the many threads I have read about installing headers....your hoist is a Godsend. I would love to get headers but dont have a lift and cant imagine suffering on my back for a weekend in my driveway!!

Is the tone a deeper throatier tone? Mean and nasty? I bet it is... Nice!! Enjoy.

The sound is deep, no trumpeting, no raspy poping. At full throttle sounds like a 5.0 with flowmasters and a O/R H pipe. Sorry, I have no way of adding a sound clip. I know, LAME!

I never had a 5.0 so I cant compare. 2k rpms, hows the drone? Can you have a conversation with the gf or is it competing too much? My truck is like that, great when I am alone but when my gf is in it with me.....kinda too much. Its hard to find the perfect tone.....its so subjective.

I imagine I would like what you have.:nice:

You can hear the exhaust more when cruising on the freeway but there is zero drone at any RPM's.
