How can I fix or make better the throttle responce on my 2004 mach 1? It is really slow responding from idle to 2000 rpm. Manual transmission. Has always been like this since I bought it from the dealer. When I hit the gas sitting still, the tack will drop down then go up. Poor responce, or retarded throttle sensor?

two different engines. high winding engines like yours usually arent known for their low end grunt.

ok... what ya got? stick or auto?? my 5spd realy woke up after the install of a cold air and a tune. the autos are responding very well with a shift point change. FYI www.mach1mustang.org they will have the info you need
