Finally got the chance to run my 90 lx hatch. Did pretty good but was told I was Granny shifting and could of ran alot faster. Had some tire (12psi dot slicks) spin out of the hole and bottle pressure issues(700psi). 1/8th mile track. I wonder if power shifting will really make me quicker? Any thoughts ?

You could go alot faster...

Set the tires to 8psi cold,do your burn out and shift into 2nd then let it "roll" out of the burn out.

Bottle pressure should be @ 950psi.

You dont need to power shift, just faster and more precise.

I prefer not to power shift to help extend the life of my trans. Plan on buying some 50/50 drag shocks for the rear and 70/30's for the front. I also need a bottle heater to get that pressure up.
