Magnaflow X Pipe & Stock H Pipe

    Does magnaflow make an X pipe that fits the 99 3.8? I'm looking at their website and it says v8 and cobra only...

    note running anything but the OEM midpipe is illegal in CA. i do smog checks all day, and can tell you for a fact that there are no CARB approved midpipes for a v6 mustang.

    well my gf has a 1996 v6 mustang with a 1999 3.8 motor... the smog inspector orignally gave us crap about the headers... which were stock 96 headers rather than the 99 manifolds... then peeked under the car and said that the catted X pipe isnt smog legal.. according to the shop she took it to, she has a magnaflow catted X pipe, and i have yet to look under the car... but according to magnaflow they dont make an X pipe for a 3.8... so I'm wondering WTF she has on the car... and why its there. :mad:
