Have any of you guys replaced the stock master cylinder with one of the newer aluminum/plastic ones? I was interested in doing this now since I'm replacing my front brakes but I'm not sure if I could pick one up at an auto parts store and it would work. Thanks for any help.

I've got extras of the original cast one not including the one that is currently on my car. However I know on the early mustangs, you can swap one of the aluminum/plastic ones from the 80's mustangs. I just wondered if I could do the same thing with my II? Seems logical enough I thought maybe somebody might have tried it?
